TOGETHER WE RISE
Our theme for this year’s conference is “Together We Rise.” Through this theme, we want to explore the importance of allyship within communities of women of color. The goal of our conference is to provide a space for young women to foster a network of women of color and learn to uplift and inspire each other. Our more immediate goal is to help break down barriers for female students of color that inhibit them from reaching their full potential. With the 2016 and 2020 elections behind us, we recognize that there are extremely few women of color in leadership positions who can allow our voices to be heard. We’re hoping that this conference will cultivate more women leaders of color, especially in high-powered positions.
